Lean, Clean and Green — The Uptime Institute Program in New York

Steve Brill, who founded the Uptime Institute, was one of the first people to identify the power and cooling issues facing large data centers, and he quickly gathered a lot of big names to support his Santa Fe, NM-based organization.
This year he is bringing the institute’s annual symposium to New York, home of several big power consumers, including financial services firms April 13-16.

The program will include experts from HP, IBM, Sun and an evening address by NY Times Columnist Thomas Friedman, author most recently of Hot, Flat and Crowded.

The Institute is a global leader in technology and green – if you are at all interested in these issues, take a look at its web site and the program in New York.
