Fake Steve Jobs Resigning his Blog
When I saw this morning’s news that the feds have dropped their criminal investigation into Apple’s options grants, I clicked onto FakeSteve. Nothing, despite some hilarious advice to Steve on how to get along in prison from friends like Martha Stewart, DeShaundre X, Ted Kacznski when the criminal investigation first broke.
So naturally I wanted to see what the parody site had to say about the investigation puttering to a stall. Strangely it had some Google entries and a weird bit about Dan Lyons who is the Forbes editor who maintained the blog. He is leaving Forbes for Newsweek and will start a new blog under the name Guardian, according to the New York Times.
“Options, the Secret Life of Steve Jobs, a Parody,” is pretty good too. A friend said she had to quit reading it on the flight back to Redmond because people were looking at her strangely after she convulsed over the text.
How often does that happen with a book about, allegedly, technology?
